(ECNS) -- The U.S. bears a lot of responsibility for the deglobalization trend, said former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez on Tuesday at a sub-forum of the 2024 Boao Forum for Asia, which is ongoing in Boao of South China's Hainan Province.
"What is happening today is ready for de-globalization. I believe that the U.S. is at fault. I won't say it's only the U.S., but the U.S. has a lot of responsibility for it," Gutierrez noted.
